This is a good inexpensive scrub (it can happen). I mean its not the best scrub in that the particles aren’t very fine so the clean isn’t as great as others can be - but it does the job. great for beach vacations comes in fairly small tube which is excellent for travel. Good to keep skin looking fresh.

Buy a tube for your gym bag, weekender bag or your boyfriends place.

Well as it turns out – say that anything has vitamins in it suddenly it seems to be a must have. I had visions of luscious lips filled with the goodness of vitamins and nutracueticals… WHATEVER!! NO such animal exists.

Inside out lip gloss is pretty much the same as all the others. No better, no worse. I will say however it does smell very nice. Its a bit gooey, like most lip glosses.

The colour selection is subtle , nice enough not $21 worth however. I guess you are paying for the so called vitamins etc which do not make a difference in the way your lips feel.

Buy it if you just want an OK lip-gloss and you like the way it smells. If you are expecting miraculous results skip it.

Cream Eyeliner by Smashbox -GRRREAT!!

Smashbox definitely did their homework when it came to eyeliners that can stand the test of your day. Their Cream eyeliner is a matte NO budge till you take it off eyeliner.. You can cry.. sweat… make love and that stuff ain’t going no where! I never swam with it so if you are a swimmer don’t blame me if it comes off… though I am pretty convinced that it will stay on once you don’t rub your eyes.

The application is with a eyeliner brush… give a few seconds to set and your are ready to take on the day or night ahead. You can leave it as a defined line or you can smudge it for smoky eyes… whatever the occasion calls for. Comes in a whole array of colours including indispensable black (my personal favorite)

Please do yourself a favor if you like wearing eyeliner that doesn’t migrate.. BUY THIS.

Ocean salt face and body scrub by LUSH is divine… it’s a light fluffy concoction that has a yummy citrus smell… It boasts ingredients like ocean water,vodka, grapefruit, lemons avacado and coconut butters…

It’s a fairly strong scrub, in that the particles aren’t small so you may want to beware if you have very sensitive skin.

I mainly use it on my face but from time to time I use it on my body… everywhere gets soft and smooth.

The results of using the scrub are incredible… my skin has never felt softer..

Do give this stuff a try its worth every penny…

24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil by Urban Decay – HA! what a joke.

24/7 Eye Pencil by Urban Decayis a complete and utter joke… They say it wont budge. Do they test these things at all???…. When I tried it in the store the girl was telling me to hurry and smudge as it was going to set and not come off till I washed it off or used make up remover….. Hurray I thought – Just what I needed. It was so creamy the way it glided onto my lid.. no dragging… no dryness…. If it was good I would sing its praises to all my girlfriends who have the same issue as me… keeping eyeliner in a line – not completing the day looking like a racoon’s kin.

Let me tell you it came off !! I think when they said 24/7 they meant 24 minutes /7 seconds before it comes off.

Save your MONEY… Avoid this waste of time and money.

Mud Flats – Soap by LUSH – GOOD stuff

This vegan soap is a bit of an experience. Mud Flats has a very subtle scent… very soft soap which you must be careful to keep dry or its a soppy mess. That is my only caveat with the product, other than that my skin looks and feels amazing. I use it in the shower on my face and my body. My skin has never looked clearer or more luminescent. The mud seems to have put my oily T - Zone in its place.

I give this soap a 9 out of 10 the point deduction is just for the looks of it once you start to use it. It really is a big old mess, whether or not you keep it dry.

The Greatest Love – Microdermabrading scrub by Philosophy – CRAPPY

This product is not serious. The greatest love by Philosphy is really some abrasive substance held in a suspension of oil.

Sure your skin feels soft - its completely oiled – and let me tell you the oil requires several washes with super sudsy soap to get it off. I am actually surprised that Philosophy still makes this product.

I would say Skip this product altogether.

LORAC Front Of The Line Waterproof Eyeliner – Not Crappy – but not good either.

At first I was sold – Front of the line by Lorac was the Best eyeliner in town…. then some of the products shortcomings began to show up.

I put it on before a 4 hour flight as I had hoped to de-plane looking fresh faced… Alas this was not the case… eyeliner went AWOL… all that there was left was a grey shadow around my eye… I have tried several different ways to put it on.. before primer, after primer, with some loose powder .. None of my applications made much difference.

My other problems with this eyeliner are

You have to have really steady hands or its a bit of a mess…
It’s a bit shiny so it really doesn’t do that well for a day time look which requires more of a matte look.

Not that impressed let me tell you.

When this product hit the market I told myself that this will save my tired looking skin.. and I was right, it did. The Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask by bliss is indeed worthy of the $52 bucks that it cost me, I have not regretted this purchase. I always apply this mask when I feel I look tired and need a pick me up

You apply the gel which promptly turns into a foam and leave on for 5 minutes then rinse… Your skin looks all fresh and relaxed like it vacation skin.

The results however are temporary so you have to use at-least 3 times a week.

But out of all the masks that I have tried this is one where you actually feel and see a result

O-Glow by smashbox – Just OK

OK, so I had to have this product, this o-glow by smashbox which, supposedly matched your complexion based on chemistry. Chemistry, smenistry, basically it turns pink - it turns pink on everyone, and of course looks different based on your skin color. It is certainly NOT INTUITIVE.

It’s not a horrid product, it goes on easily, feels silky smooth and does(once applied correctly) have a natural look to it.

I do have to say its more a product for teenagers, being over 30 – the sweet pink cheeks on my not so young anymore skin looks like a bit of a joke.

If you have perfectly smooth, baby soft skin and want just a natural looking lift - yes, try it. If you are a bit older and don’t want to look like a mutton playing lamb.. skip it, try a more adult product.
